Liatris Yaxuan Bian is a contemporary jewellery artist whose practice transforms emotional narratives, personal memories, and sensory experiences into wearable forms. Drawing inspiration from natural environments and psychological landscapes, she communicates concepts through material behaviour, movement and structure. Her visual language is characterised by the use of geometric, circular, and curved forms that create soft yet emotionally charged compositions. She is particularly interested in the development and expansion of patterns, using repetition, layering, and fluid structures to construct narrative and atmosphere within jewellery. Working across enamelling, metal folding, and brushed metal techniques, her work explores states of drifting, concealment, fragility, and transformation.
